However I'm surprised at how much noise she made, considering she'd had the wind knocked out of her.

I think the noises were because that faceplant hurt quite a bit. Nothing stings like a blow to the nose, and it looks like she may have banged hers pretty well. If she'd have taken some boxing lessons she'd have taken it more in stride. :)

I hope she's okay, but in my clinical opinion she just had the wind knocked out of her. Extremely painful, but very short lived.

It looks like she got her arms under before she fell, and at least that was grass she landed on, so the chance for abrasions is low.

I'm still thinking that was a wind-knocked-out moment.

I wixh I had video of myself falling out of the tree at a party known as "Springfest" I don't think I had the moaning going on, but folks sure got a kick out of me shattering my ankle in two places
