Nicest pair of shoes you own?
My "nice" shoes, that is, shoes that I wear when I am going someplace nice are a pair of Sperry Topsider boat shoes that cost about $85. The most expensive footwear that I own are a pair of La Sportiva, Italian made general purpose mountaineering boots that cost around $225.

Nice-dressy are a pair of knee-high black leather boots, with big heels. Don't remember the brand, they were about $50. If nice=expensive, my Asolo hiking boots, which I live in all winter and some of the summer:

11. $80 hiking boots
My other two are 40 buck running shoes and $8 work shoes that look like classy loafers but feel like glorious slippers.
