How does one send a complaint to Netflix? |
|
Seriously, I'm really pissed about this because they claim I still have a DVD of theirs out and the thing is - the only thing I ever received of that DVD is the sleeve with the name on it and an incorrect DVD inside.
I reported it as mislabeled but that's just an option box. Now 2 weeks later they still think I have the DVD and I've searched everywhere on their website and I can't find anywhere that I could email or call a customer service in order to fix this problem.
Annoying ain't it!

1. My B-I-L and I were just trying to figure this out the other night |
|
There doesn't seem to be any way to get ahold of them, at least none that we could find.

2. Have you tried contacting your local consumer affairs reporter? |
|
Sometimes they have better luck tracking down contact information.

4. I just cancelled my service with Netflix, |
|
but if I remember, there's a "Report Shipping Problems" link once you log in? If you've already tried that, I don't know what else you can try.
Good Luck

6. there's a "contact us" link on the home page |
|
follow it to "your account", etc.
mrs. unblock deals with them, not i, but iirc, they basically allow one lost disc per year. after the second lost disc, if you don't pay for it, they cancel you.
this information is at least a couple years old, so their policy might have changed.

click on "your account" tab from that page, at bottom of "rental activity" area, click on "report a problem"
If that does't work, scroll to the bottom and click on "contact us" From the contact page, click on "suggestions" and send email.
I had the same problem trying to get them info and finally found this way to get email to them - I think I saved my text though as proof of the email --not sure if I got a confirmation reply or not.
I've had a lot of complaints about their turn-around time lately.
Good luck.

10. Phone number is on the Netflix web site |
|
Edited on Mon May-16-05 02:07 PM by BattyDem
Found on the "How it Works" page:
Still have questions? Please contact our Customer Service department at:
1-800-585-8131 Mon-Fri 6am - 7pm PST Sat-Sun 6am - 2:30pm PST
:-)
On edit: By the way, you can find phone numbers through Google. A neat little trick almost always produces a customer service phone number for a company.
Type this in Google search box: +Netflix +contact +"customer service"
Obviously, if you want contact info for a company other than Netflix, just substitute the name of the company you're looking for. If the company name is more than one word, be sure to put it in quotes (like I did with "customer service").
You may not always get the actual company web site, but there's usually some other web site that will have a company's contact info. :-)

13. I've had good luck with them when have had problems |
|
It is annoying to have to figure out how to contact them. I wrote directly on the DVD sleeve when I returned it. A neighbor had 1 stolen from mailbox and had no trouble getting credit. Of course having her checks stolen also and $2000+ forged so far has made 1 dvd loss seem small potatoes. Good luck.

and at the top, right below the list of the DVD's you have out, click 'Report Shipping Problem'.
I did it once - I had returned 2 DVD's and after about a week they still hadn't received them. They shipped my new ones out that day and then a couple weeks later they said they finally received the 2 I had returned.

15. We've Rented over 800 DVDS from Netflix-Never had a problem. |
|
Lost one. Probably stolen at the regional post office. Have returned broken ones, replaced within 24 hours. Never a problem. And their price has gone DOWN and turn around time is HALF what it was in 1999.
