5. Maybe I meant a big boat.
The line(no pun intended) should not have been included. I did not really read the post. It could be true if I said that the Brits spell the word as such. I am sure that someone else was at fault, blah, blah, blah, blah

2. why not?
Actually, I think, ideally, sex education shouldn't be taught in one sitting. I've done with my daughter what my parents did with me. Introduce a bit of knowledge whenever she's ready.

I don't think people should necessarily be exhibitionists, but freaking out if a kid walks in on you naked or occupied is a sure way to make them think nudity or sex is "dirty".

The problem is that too many kids today are raised in a Puritanical home, so dropping a show-and-tell on them -at school, for instance - could cause more problems than it solves.

Here's a wonderful example of the American view of sex and violence: I was in a video rental store a few years ago. A man came in with three kids, ranging in age from approximately 12 to 6. He was complaining loudly and profanely that the film he had just rented "had a nekkid lady's tits in it," and that was just wrong to show his kids.

Note that he was using profanity. I glanced over. While I can't recall the title, it was rated R quite clearly, and was one of these slasher films that features nothing more than graphic depictions of various ways to mutilate a human body. He thought that was fine, but not a shot of breasts.

How are these kids ever going to gain a healthy appreciation of sex?

6. Make love, not slashing!
I wonder if the psychopaths in this country wouldn't know how to be psychopaths if they didn't see anything to mimick in the first place.

Even fornication is far better than mutilation...
