3. Sounds good.
I was feeling low this afternoon after a doctor visit, so I wanted comfort food. I made a hotdish of rice, chicken broth, vegetables, and Italian sausage. I also made a pan of corn bread and steamed some broccoli.

I'll be the only one eating it, and I haven't eaten yet. My husband and my teenager are both out of the house, and the little kids ate peanut butter sandwiches and plain buttered rice.

5. I have two pork chops I'm not sure how to cook
I mean, I know how to braise them, but I was wondering about deep frying them. Just sounds like a crazy idea but I have this neat deep fryer. Ever try it?

22. The Prophet made me dinner, as usual
It was delicious. He made black beans and rice with some ground beef and onions thrown in plus some corn on the cob on the side. It was "stick to your ribs" food! :9

28. tonight
was cheese and crackers and blue corn chips and an exquisitely great guacomole.

Tomorrow is ostrich marinated in ginger soy sauce, sauteed with onions and garlic, and combined with portabello mushrooms marinated in balsamic vinegar and sauteed, served with wild rice, and homemade apple sauce with a yet to be determined random vegetable.

Love to cook when I can.
