Today was the day of the DU gathering in Minneapolis, and present and accounted for were myrna minx and her sister, dflprincess, suegeo, leftist rebel, Northwest, and me, Lydia Leftcoast.

However, by the time I had to leave at 3:30PM, no one else had shown, so unless they all showed up at 3:35, I shall have to declare regretfully that the following people flaked out:

2. I apologize for missing it

It wasn't due to a clock problem.

I got a call from a contractor friend of mine at 1:30 who needed *immediately* an NDA, a modified (targeted) resume, samples of my work in a couple of specialized areas and a demonstration Visual Basic program on cryptography. By the time I looked up it was 4:30 -- and it doesn't look like I landed the gig.
