Okay, catch me up on the gossip and goings on

I've been gone on a mini vacation, staying away from all thoughts of politics, newspapers, news, and the net. Now, I need to get caught up, whose been banned and why? do we have an official lesbian?
We've been in the buckle of the bible belt, churches and b/c stickers everywhere, there was even a full ass billboard with b/c on it, these are the hardcore 33%, it was pretty country but there must be something in the water down there that makes people crazy.
