27. And I read in an interview w/ him
that he was using this as a springboard for a tv career. He wants to develop his own series and feels that he can do it now since shows like CSI consistantly garner high ratings.

28. He even came up w/ the storyline for the episode.
He said that he talked to the producers after hanging out on the set one day. He wanted to do an episode about someone being buried alive as a form of revenge for doing their job.

16. Excellent
Tarantino did a fabulous job with this ep., as did all of the CSI cast. That was two of the best hours of t.v. I've ever seen. It felt like I was watching a movie! It reminded me of the Sopranos viewing experience, which is very impressive, considering this is network t.v.

Roland, do you mind if I use this thread to express my love and adoration for Mr. William Peterson? I do love me some Grissom!!!

18. If you like that kind of thing
Like the "moviesque" quality of The Sopranos, you really need to check out "Huff" on Showtime. It has Hank Azaria, Blythe Danner, and Oliver Platt. Brilliant show.

17. It was a great episode! ***spoiler****
I almost cried when Will Petersen told George Eads to place his hand on top of his right near the end when they were trying to get him out of the ground.

22. I've been a CSI viewer from the beginning
But that show beat not just any episode of CSI, but practically any TV show I've ever seen. Now I can't wait for the Lost season ender.

25. WELL worth the download
It was deeper and more interesting than CSI has ever been allowed to be. I'm sure the actors were thrilled at the prospect of playing these roles.
