In the Lounge, that's what I love to see. I love see it in the rest of DU as well. But as a Lizard, I want to talk about us.

Since we are all adults around here, I really appreciate it when we all act like adults. As you all know. I'm not above acting a fool now and then, but when actin' a fool crosses the line into calling each other out for our outside of DU online activities then we all lose a little self respect.

Self respect should be very important to all of us. The last few weeks are a testament to what happens when we allow others to take our self respect away from us.

The first thing our little trolly-troll fucked in the head lurker pals want us to do is lose our self respect so that they can derive some perverse enjoyment out of it. They want us to validate their endeavors by reducing our self respect so that we're down to their level. They go out of their way to observe the communications that we share amongst ourselves on a place of our own choosing. A place whose members are the most compassionate, intelligent, patriotic, hard working, moral and decent people I've ever had the privilege of being associated with on the net.

It's why our lurker pals are so envious of us. They're willing to emulate us, stalks us, parody us, harass us, bait us, insult us, deceive us and go out of their way to impose their paranoia on us. These people do not have lives... That's why they're creating a perverse version of ours for their own amusement.

Are we going to let them do this shit to us? You already know my answer... FUCK NO!

I tell you what, they've had their chance to face off against me. But in a spate of their own disgusting depravity which came our of a result of their desire to bait me, they acted like complete assholes and BLEW THEIR CHANCE. Why would I want to associate with people like that?

Nobody tells me what web site I'm going to join... Just as no one has the right to tell anyone else around here what website to join. It's a personal choice. If you're a DUer in good standing, you already know what the right thing to do on your out of DU activities. If you choose to be a hypocrite and a troll, you should be willing to face the consequences.

The trolls will lie about us, they'll stalk us and they'll snicker between themselves. As far as I'm concerned, if they do their shit on their own turf and leave ourselves and our families our of their disgusting extra-curricular practices, I'm willing to live and let live.

If I know them, they're not going to take me up on my offer, mostly because they're too stupid to know a good thing when they see it. They're gonna fuck up some more, mark my words. When they do, I vow this: I'm going to defend myself. If another DUer is under fire, I'm going to defend them, because all of us have chosen to stand up for what is right.

We are only strong when we stand together.

First of all, they're going to be cumming all over themselves because this acknowledges that some DUers read what they have to post.

And I have no qualms about admitting that I read what they post because it only proves what I already knew -- that they are a group of in-fighting, ignorant, obsessive (and in some cases racist and homophobic) losers.

They are a caricature of the freeper stereotype that we constantly joke about. It makes me laugh.

Some actually believe that there are weapons of mass destruction.

"They're in Syria".

Others believe that homosexuality is a choice. If it was a choice, then why the hell would Dick Cheney's daughter choose to be gay?

And then there is the in-fighting. One of them got banned for two weeks for posting some type of references to child molestation. Not sure what it was because I read the aftermath, but there was still dispute on whether or not he should have been banned in the first place.

Joking or not, child molestation is no laughing matter.

And that self-proclaimed claim to fame, that "we don't ban anyone" is a crock of shit.

I got banned in two days because I responded to their insults with insults.

Of course they'll say that I was banned because I came in on a "suicide mission".

No, I just treated them the way they treated me.

...including filing false reports against me and even getting web forums shut down. But they also delighted in my responses to them, so I had to give up giving them so much of my time and attention, and now I don't even want to know what they say. They'll say anything. They'll go to extreme lengths to "provoke" you.
Don't let them get to ya, or they succeed. That's one of their goals. Some of them boast of "getting paid" to harass us. They're sick and twisted. Don't waste your time, they're not worth it, IMO.
Not tryin to tell ya how to run your life or anything...;-) We disagree on some things but we could possibly both agree on the fact that, they are not worth the bother. Save your heart and time for better things, like DJing or bartending The Lounge. We miss your music, drinks, and cute jokes. :-)
