The "I Hate Tana" Fan Club |
|
Yes, that's right, I watch "The Apprentice". I actually watch it to keep track of The Hair, and I'm also composing a drinking game linked to Donald Trump's constant pronouncements that things are "yooooge". In the meantime, Tana creeps me out. She reminds me of every saleswoman for a certain home-based direct sales cosmetic company I have ever met.
Is there anyone else here who finds her as odious as I do? Enquiring minds must know.

1. I can't take that show. |
|
Actually, I can't take most of what is on TV. Reality TV should have stopped with the Real World.

2. My husband and I enjoy "The Apprentice" |
|
mostly for the cringe-worthy decisions some of the Apprenti have made on their tasks -- ("Uh, it's probably not a great idea to tell The Donald that he doesn't know what he's talking about.")

I would have to tell him off if I got on the show, which is one reason I wouldn't get on.

with her attitude tonight. Running teammates down is no way to run an operation.

5. I couldn't believe that Trump continued |
|
to kiss up to her throughout the final show. Did he see something I didn't? Kendra won this competition several weeks ago, in my opinion. Tana's behavior tonight was embarrassingly inept, not to mention egomaniacal. Her work didn't speak for itself. She's not gracious enough to praise those who deserve it.

7. I'd watch that on pay-per view |
|
The hair pulling, screaming and finger pointing would be legendary.
I'm sure Tana would be horribly insulted because Omarosa didn't immediately compliment her on her eye shadow application.

8. Trump had an hour to fill. He had to |
|
create at least a little illusion of suspense even though it was obvious Kendra would win.
What I found interesting tonight was that Trump admitted "The Apprentice" gets a one year employment contract that can apparently be renegotiated at the end of the year. All the BS about the chosen one taking over a big project ought to be qualified with an admission that the assignment is temporary and so is the new "employee."

10. In this case, though, I'd do it |
|
>the assignment is temporary and so is the new "employee."<
I read last night that Carolyn Kepcher will be mentoring and training Kendra for several months prior to being turned loose on her assignment. If I were Kendra, I'd work for minimum wage for the opportunity to work with Carolyn.
Carolyn is smarter than Donald Trump. If he ever figures it out, she's toast.

11. It all seemed like a setup to me |
|
Tana was doing well until it became apparent that she might win several weeks back. The Donald seemed to like Kendra more. After all, she does have a college degree...just like him. Damn thse street smart people.
I'd like to see Tana take on someone in my home town at The Bucket of Blood Tavern & Grill. She'd do some damage, I'm sure.

14. What pissed me off the most about last nights show |
|
was the pathetic 2 jobs they got to choose from. Do you hoestly think if 2 men or even 1 guy were the final candidates, they would have had such 2 lame job choices. The Ms. Universe Pagaent? God does anyone even watch that anymore?

16. I think those tasks were |
|
chosen specifically for the two finalists. Tana probably does watch the Miss Universe pageant. Kendra lives in Florida and has a background in real estate.
That said, it says a lot about Trump that his first two "apprentices" have high-profile jobs in Chicago and New York, and he didn't think enough of either of the women this time around to offer them something even remotely similar.

19. Kelly & Bill's jobs aren't as "real" as Kendra's will be |
|
Trumpie has been recently exposed as having given Kelly and Bill basically fluff PR jobs. Kendra will at least get to mentor with Carolyn and probably do some real work in Florida. I personally think the Miss Universe thing was thrown out there to trip up Tana.

15. Tana's relationship with Craig creeped me out |
|
They slept in the same room, did kneeling prays at beside in their jammies, she stayed loyal to him thru to the end even tho it was clear she should said she'd fire him over Kendra (if you're going to play the corporate game you can't be loyal to incompetence)
Even after the Pontiac task I was willing to give Tana the benefit of the doubt - but then she went to Staten Island to get bedazzler beads even tho she didn't have a bedazzler - and I thought she was just a nice lady with a sparkling personality who was pretty stupid.
And then she revealed her fangs and I was done.

I thought I was the only one that noticed that! I'm sure Tana's husband and her kiddies (ostensibly the reason why The Donald "took it easy" on Tana last night,) were THRILLED to note wife and mommy sleeping in the same room with a guy she's not married to!
I was also going to note, in my oh-so-catty way, that Mary Kay Cosmetics don't seem to have jumped on the Tana love bandwagon, either. I would be thinking that they would be going out of their way to milk the publicity -- well, I'm sure their reluctance had something remotely to do with Tana's dropping the F-bomb several times during a recent episode. We won't even discuss the public consumption of alcoholic beverages, which is a huge no-no in the Mary Kay universe.
Have I said today that I hate her? HATE. HER.
LOL, Julie

|
I recognized her fakey smile (and, I've since learned, her fake Southern accent), but thought she was okay until the Solstice project. God. Then her complete true colors during the the last event. And last night? No words!
Congrats to Kendra for being classy last night.
btw, her sister is one of my student's good friends.

We were out to dinner last night and a woman came into the bar claiming to be "Tana's cousin". She is currently camping out in her RV and didn't have a television. She had to come to the bar to see the show.
We left pretty quickly. After all, I'm sure she wouldn't have approved of my opinion on her family member...

she made the shape and that's what the car company wanted! Yes, Mr. Trump, it was TANA snoring away in her bed that made them win that Cadillac task. she lost it last night, poor gal.
