What is with those stupid lip injections?

I'm watching Dr. Phil, and a lady on there has an upper lip that is injected with so much collagen, or whatever, that she looks like some kind of mutant creature. :scared:

It's incredibly unattractive, and very distracting. I can hardly pay attention to what she's saying because I'm so repulsed by her lips!!!

What is wrong with people????? :shrug:

There are some people who can look in a mirror
and see huge flaws in their appearance where
none exist.

It's similar to anorexia.

They think... "If I fix this one thing, everyone
will like me! All of my problems will be solved!"

My general impression is that it is an overhaul for women whose mouths are "tired" ;-)

5. You know how memories are when you get older. Well, one day you

wake up and notice you have no lips. For some reason they disappear when you age. And you remember the beautiful full ones you had as a young lady. Then you run off to your lip injector doctor and tell him you want those full lips back. But because of your memory, the full lips you remember are much fuller then the ones you had when you were young. So you get these ugly lips. Also, your poor little face has so many wrinkles, that it's nice to see something without wrinkles, so you don't realize that the new lips are twice as big as the ones you remember.

No I haven't had this done. But I am upset at the disappearing lips. Hard to put lipstick on nothing. And just lipstick on the bottom lip makes one look even more stupid.

much plastic surgery, including collagen injections, botox injections and cosmetic surgical alterations look hideous, IMHO.
