I want a Gyro for lunch.
Mmmm.. With the feta cheese and cucumber dressing. Yum!! But no lamb meat, I get mine with chicken!!

Gyro is probably the most often mispronounced food name. Even its fans usually do not get the pronounced correctly - whether it is mispronounced as "jee-rohs," "jai-rohs," "gee-rohs," The correct Greek pronunciation is “yee-rohs.”

6. Sorry. Same for me, but the gyro thought creeped
into my head and it won't leave. I called my hubby just now to tell him we are going to the Greek restaurant for supper! :9

8. I need to locate a restaurant that serves gyros in this part of town
Haven't had a chance to look, but today might be the day :) We were real close to one in the ex-house, but it was in a flaming red neighborhood, which is why we moved out.

The cool thing is, this part of town is extremely multiethnic and laid-back, so odds are good I shall have a delicious gyro soon! :)

3. Ohhhh man....now I am craving a gyro
and those stuffed grape leaves...dolamtes! I like the lamb meat, actually but I'll eat it with chicken or horse meat.

7. Do you ever get the pita mots?
Not sure I spelled it correctly. But the pita bread with toasted mozzarella and dip it in cucumber dressing. YUMMY!
