The Boise-area liberals are out in droves today. |
|
I saw four Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers this morning. I also saw a "Bush Lied. People Died." bumper sticker - I think that's the first one I've seen here - and the same car had a sticker that said "Dissent IS Patriotic."
It helped to know they were out there when, at the grocery store, I saw a car plastered in various stickers praising Bush/Cheney, a Bush/Cheney campaign sticker, and the oh-so-mature "Bush Rules, Kerry Drools" sticker.

The last time I was in Idaho was 1990. We stayed in Idaho Falls and then moved on to Montana on our way to Edmonton, Alberta. It was a different time back then and everyone we came in to contact with was great. My understanding is that parts of Idaho (Sand Point in particular) have become havens for white supremicists. Is this true?

9. I've heard the same, but have not visited those areas to see for myself. |

By the way, if I remember my numbers correctly, Idaho went to Bush with 67% of the votes.

I know there are liberals in Idaho, but aren't they a tiny minority? I remember looking at the electoral maps last year before the election, and thinking how sorry I felt for any liberal living in Idaho! Maybe Boise is an exception!
"Bush Rules, Kerry Drools." VERY MATURE, IMHO!

Downtown Boise tends to be more liberal than other parts of the Treasure Valley. I live in a very conservative enclave.
There are others like me, though! One of them posts on this very board, and we're planning to meet for coffee one day soon.

When Cheney visited our tiny town in NV... the only dissenters were from Boise. Devoted they were and am certain they are there today!
