Standing Panda Delights Crowds

CHIBA, Japan -- A lesser panda has become a popular attraction at a Japanese zoo for his ability to stand.

Zookeepers are baffled by the 2-year-old bear's balance and said he is the first known lesser panda to stand up straight.

Caretakers said the animal stands several times a day -- early in the morning and after being fed. He can stand upright for more than 10 seconds.
