I will never eat at the Space Needle restaurant! |
|
I tried to eat there today. First off it's $25 minimum per person (for lunch!) and there aren't many vegetarian options. I sat down anyway, and the fact that the restaurant is rotating is just too creepy. It's hard to eat when you're feeling vertiginous!

They said that the water supply was being repaired and they could not serve anyone. Told us this right before we left the hotel, so we did not go there for no reason, at least. Ended up at a terrific french restaurant at the Pike St. Mkt: Maximillian's.

5. Had dinner there many years ago. It really turns very very slow. |
|
I couldn't even tell it was turning. I would look up from my food and see a slightly different view of Seattle and that's the only way I could even tell it was moving.
You're right about the price though.

6. We went there for dinner |
|
and my youngest blew lunch in a projectile manner all over the floor. There was a collective gasp and a long sigh as I ran out of there with him. He proceeded to blow lunch in the Museum of Flight the next day. We remember all our vacations by the places he threw up in.
I heard it was not worth the price, still it would have been cool to sit up there and look around the city while eating.

7. I took my kids up once. Many years ago. |
|
I even took one of my kids up on the twin towers. Now I fear getting up on a chair. I do not know what has happened.
