Turning off a movie because you fell asleep halfway through is not a good
sign for that flick.

But alas, it was the fate of Van Helsing at our house tonight.

1. I did that recently
with Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (Isn't that what it's called?). I was looking forward to it for weeks! Unfortunately we picked a bad day to watch it- the day after a sleepless night. This girl was exhausted!

My SO assured me it was a great movie. I didn't bother to try and find out. :)

:hi:

2. I managed to stay awake but, this one had a cringe factor to it and not
in a good sense. I dunno.. not quite scary and not quite funny.. it just... I just felt keenly aware of the actors rather than the characters and felt embarassed for them, if that makes sense.

Will keep and eye out for that Sky Captain one. BIL thought it was pretty good. :)

3. My mum loved Van Helsing
I haven't had the chance to watch it yet! Unfortunately, the SO and I don't see eye to eye on that genre! The only movies we seem to agree on are in the Comedy genre.

One of these days... I'll just have to get him drunk and submissive like! :o
