Forty-seven Years Old, and Got Good News This Week

Last week druing a regular check up, my doctor noticed that I had been in three times in the last year with urinary tract infections. He said, "Let's do an ultrasound on you kidneys, just to make sure everything looks okay."

And he did, and lo and behold, there's a big mass on my left kidney. Oops.

So, Thursday I went in for a CT Scan, wondering if my life was about to radically change.

Thankfully, the news was good. It's just a cyst. There's no blood flow to it, so it's not a tumor. It's not inteferring with my kidney function and not causing any problems.

Life looks WAY good to me right now.

but they still suck. That's good news overall. I assume they are going to remove it. I hope you have a speedy recovery. :)
