What will future civilizations think of our 'culture'?
We've seen Mayan culture. Aztec culture. Spanish culture. Euro culture. Nero culture. The wonderful culture of the ancient Greeks (if you discount the slave stuff).

So, what is American culture?

On a base level, it's the same as all the previous ones: Ruling elite, working class being trampled on, sex, music, art, you name it.

But what distinguishes us? Apart from raping the planet that we all kinda need to live on?

3. Judging from the resources, space, and time placed in it?
Future civilizations' anthropologists will think we worshipped the automobile.

Roads are the Easter Island heads of our culture.

4. Yes, but automobiles rust...
They'll dig up far more dildos and condoms than cars...

And when they see a female condom, they'll wonder what sort of bizarre insane genetic manipuation we were attempting... :wow:

7. That's what makes it so perfect. The mystery.
Why were all these ribbons of asfault built? Why was 20% of the available space in urban areas taken up with these wide corridors? Why were the monoliths constructed in leaf fashion to hold up above ground the all important road?

6. That's okay.
At least the cabbage patch dolls and dildos will survive.

Non biodegradable rubbish will ensure our place in universal history.

(I'd say 'junk' instead of 'rubbish' but I know the "other" meaning for that word...)
