Oops! It's Darmok! :P

Wait, are we talkin' the one on the left or the right? I see Captain Picard, but he always came across as being a bit alien...

5. His name isn't Darmok.
That was a character in his analogy.

16. No, its just a brilliantly written episode...It was one of the most
original Star Trek scripts ever. I connected to it because it was deeply serious in a way very few episodes were.

13. It was one of the most popular episodes
I read somewhere. I think it was very creative and well written - here were 2 species who wanted to communicate, needed to, but couldn't, even with the universal translator.

but the determination of Picard to try and understand and communicate with them...was so inspiring.

'Chins up in court'

I've only seen it about 15 times

14. Gilgamesh.
According to the itnerviews on the season 5 DVD set, after they aired that episode, which had Picard recounting the Gilgamesh story, a college proffesor called Rick Berman or one of the produces or writers, and said that as a result of that, at that moment, more people knew the story of Gilgamesh than at any other time in human history.
