I'm watching the Hindenburg on the History Channel, and they had a musical |
|
spot where they're doing a satirical song about how "There's a lot to be said for the Nazis"
I actually started chuckling when they got to a part where they said:
There's a lot to be said for the Nazis They're keeping the press in line
They also went on saying something about the radio and the press as well and it ended with something like "There's a lot to be said for the nazis and I'm sure we'll find out what in time." :)
I wish I could find the complete lyrics, it was very . . . umm . . . apt :).

1. I remember the tune you mention. |

And damn, if I had that movie on tape, I'd transcribe it, 'cause you won't find it anywhere else.
"There's A Lot to be Said for the Fuhrer" -- written by David Shire and Edward Kleban -- isn't on any soundtracks, no lyrics online, nothing, nada. :(

Perhaps I'll rent the movie from Netflix and see if I can get all the lyrics down. :)
