I HATE THE FUCK OUT OF FUCKING COWBOYS.

I work with pro-life church-going-hymn-signing girly-gals,but heywe can get along. Really.The Bigoted conservatives and flat-out racist cowboys make this out-dyke mad enough to cry.
I'm wondering if I'm mad enough to quit my job.
If the dyke quits, do the cowboys win?

attitudes as a straight liberal. I don't know if they win when a dyke quits, but they are surely mighty confused when a dyke stays. ....without hearing some Copenhagen-sucking shit-head say disparaging things about "Africans" and think its a-okay because everyone in the office is white, lilly-white. Wink wink , and he knows that the N-word is unacceptable in the work environment, so he he talks about "Africans".

He dosnt talk about gays in front of me, but by god he sure as fuck does talk about gays , homos fags,all over the office when I am not present.

Fortunately he dosnt speak to me since I outed myself during one of his bigoted tirades. His avoidance of any eye contact since then could be humorous, but I'm just not in the mood.

I am a proud liberal woman in a conservative man's world here in cowboy Kansas.

I get along fine and you know what? There are quite a few out gays among the cowboys here and I have never heard of a problem. Now this IS Kansas. I do not know where all the bigots are, they are certainly here, but I have rarely met someone really bigoted and I have lived here all my life. There are certainly better places to go but right here the cowboys are pretty darned nice. You earn your respect and they will give it to you freely. Male/female, gay/hetero. They are actually less suspect and easier to deal with than the business suits.
