My first executive job. It's weird. Ties. Every day. Bigger salary. Perks. Admins. Decisionmaking. Responsibility. Weird.

I'm fortunate to not even own a tie, let alone ever find myself in a position to wear one.

5. You don't own one tie? |
|
What about...a wedding? A funeral? Even tie-haters have ties. Right? I mean, I know I did. Yikes. Well hey if you don't have to wear one, and you like your job, you're more than halfway home methinks.

I bought one for a job interview over 10 years ago, but never took it out of the suitcase when I interviewed for my current job a couple of years later. I haven't seen it since moving to CA-- I don't think I brought it along.

I wear a tie every day, too. But, I have no executive power. I'm just a tool for the man.

for the first time. But for a start-up non profit. Killer hours - huge responsibility. Wierd sense, from time to time, per position.

7. Look at it this way, . . . . |
|
. . . . You can probably order common people around and assert authority in a lot of situations just based upon how you are dressed.
Use it wisely.

"worker bees" take your pick. I've BEEN a worker bee my whole life that's why I'm tripping out. I did NOT take the ivy league - MBA - great job out of college route, tfds.
