22. REALLY disappointed in the film...

Not sure if it was because I knew most of the jokes and story so well, but I was really bored the entire time. Apart from Arthur Dent and Slaartibartfast, the cast was pretty dreadful, and it was like the Reader's Digest version of the BBC series. I guess it was made for fans and they figured they didn't need to explain anything, but the explanations were where most of the actual humor and cleverness was in the original.

Despite the "Doctor Who" level production values of the original BBC series, I'd say it's a whole lot more satisfying than the big budget version.

It was nice to see a cameo from the original Marvin, though...
