Yes, I finally have entered Photobucket World. It wasn't easy, but I finally figured it out.

So, without further ado, here they are.....Weenie and Pugsley!! :loveya:

took me forever to force myself to brave the waters. Tech stuff. Eek.

I kept screwing it up, but here's what I've got for now.

mess around a bit, and hit 'preview' before you post your message if you are unsure of how a pic looks. The 'edit' function on PB is great, I use it to resize ALL time. :-) Have fun and go crazy! next thing you know, you'll be posting your own pic!

I got loast, actually. Some of my pics ended up in different files, and sometimes I could find them and sometimes I couldn't, and it was a pain in the ass because I couldn't remember what I did right, but actually I think the copmuter just changes the damn rules when you're not looking and that's what happened to me.

13. here's how...super super simple.

Keep two separate windows open, one on your message on DU, after you hit 'preview', and one on photobucket. (this is done most easliy using Mozilla or Firefox as your browser and using tabs...but we can talk about that later if you don't what that means...)

you can see three buttons above each pic on photobucket (pb), move, edit, and delete. Click 'edit' for the one you want to make smaller.

you now have 3 options, rename, resize, or rotate.
choose a resize option, 75%, 50%, or 25% of original. (default is 50%, if I am unsure of the size I want, I pick 75 first, then go back to DU, click on 'Reload' and see how it turned out, then go on to 50 if it isn't small enough.) 50 usually works best for me.

that's it! simple simple!

I love firefox, go to www.mozilla.org if you want to check it out... best thing I ever did for my computer and my surfing.

16. do you use Netscape or Explorer to get on the internet?

all firefox and mozilla are is a replacement for them. They are safer and faster for your computer and you, respectively.

all you have to do is download it from the site, it's free. I was hesitant at first, but finally was convinced by everyone hooting and hollering over here about it! (now I'm the one hooting...)

once you download it, just click on it instead of what you normally use to get on the internet. and never use explorer again, if that's what you have. It's the worst ever for viruses and other crap.

and a virus search program, it comes on everytime I log in. Can't remember the name.

but I did just download FireFox, and once I finally move away from the computer, I'll close the windows and finish the installation. (friggin DU addiction is really kicking my ass, seriously!)

I know what it takes to make those first few steps, you'll be running in no time. once you get going on firefox, get on Du and then hit "control, T" at the same time... POOF! Two tabs to browse on in the same window! the best thing that ever happened to surfing.

27. Akshully, I'm frum New Joisey originally

to be honest, from an area with not much of an accent. But an accent is more fun and I'm a drama queen, so. There you have it. I love a good Brooklyn accent. Lung Eeyeland is a riot too.

Mr Fuzz is from Sulphur Louisianna. But his accent is a combination of redneck and Deaf.

I got a taste of N'awlins accent reading "A Confederacy of Dummies" (ah oh drat, I think I've got the name of the book wrong. But I bet you'll know what I'm talking about.)
