28. 'Allo 'Allo is quite wonderful
Watching it these days, the really dodgy stereotypes and the accents of both French and Germans stick out I can't imagine half that getting throught the B.B.C. now.

Not much good on network TV anymore; the sitcoms are all formulaic and with the exception of Fox's animated line-up just the same old rehash. It's tough to pick one fav, but here's my timeless list:

Reno 911
South Park
Simpsons
Family Guy
Carol Burnett Show
All in the Family
Bob Newhart Show
Early SNL
SCTV
Addams Family
Fernwood Tonight
Soap
Sledge Hammer
Laugh-In
The Tick
Live Shot
Cheers

Which puts her on a list of about 6 people on the entire planet.

Before the Tom Green Show got picked up by MTV it was hilarious.

And recently I've gotten into this British show called Spaced, from the makers of Shaun of the Dead. Quality stuff.

30. Yes [Prime] Minister.
The notion of a sit-com set within a government department does not leap off the page, but the final result is quite stunning (in a very British way) - and apparently very accurate too.

34. How could I forget those series
The comedy and acting were excellent. I have an Indian friend who used to watch it over in India - it was very popular there. I'm surprised they could follow Sir Humphrey's circumlocutions, it takes some doing even for a native English speaker.
