2. If I were you, I would wait a while.
Saturday mornings at Costco are awful. I went yesterday. $300 poorer, but lots of food in the house to feed the scavengers that live here.

8. LOL.
Actually, I did. 36 of them. My husband, son, daughters and father-in-law love eggs. Me, I am the odd man out, as usual.

I'll tell you, if it weren't for Costco, I would be in the poorhouse with the amount of food these people consume. It is unreal.

12. Yesterday they were sampling the crab cakes.
OMG, they are so good. I had to buy some because I was getting embarrassed that I was going back to the sampler lady so much.

Our Costco has a seafood roadshow this weekend. The stuff looked awesome, but there was too long of a line.

I just got the usual stuff, you know, wine, wine, more wine, bread, laundry detergent, blah, blah, blah.

it is so damn good - i'll take some of that,
and a big bottle of Yellow Tail Shiraz,
a thing of assorted muffins,
a big box of otter pops,
French roast whole bean coffee,
yogurt, OJ, milk and bread.

thanks! :)

13. Depends
Different Costcos carry different merchandise. But here's what I tend to buy in San Leandro.

Butter is an excellent buy
Monterey Pasta Company burritos -- yum
The Columbia Crest Merlot -- this is an extremely iffy winery, but the Merlot is really rather good and $4.99 a bottle
Steaks -- yum
the subprimal beef rib in a bag. I cut it into roasts, wrap, and freeze -- double yum

Two 24 pound bags of charcoal wrapped together. It was really cheap. I don't remember the exact price.

19. Hey, thanks for this offer, TYJ. Would you please bring me back --
-- a U.N. Ambassador nominee who doesn't hate the U.N.?

I've really been hankering for one of those.

...eight-packs of UN nomininees. Maybe there will be one that won't make our country look worse than it already does.

29. The same ol mundane stuff
Today I have to get some food storage containers for someone who just had surgery.

But my Costco trips are cyclic, I check to see what's running low and then go fetch. Today it's dishwashing detergent, paper towels (my kids go thru them), a couple of pillows, window cleaner, and dinner for the weekend.
