I just got tipped by a stripper

We usually only special order shoes, but we had a pair that fit her that someone didn't pick up for 9 months, so I went ahead and sold them to her.

So I've sold the same pair of shoes twice now, and I got a $4.00 tip. First time I've ever been tipped as a clerk.

6. I'm lucky that I get to see them in a different light

than the persona they project while at the club.

I get to see them in jeans and sweatshirts, with a toddler in tow half the time - and we get to interact on a more human level than at the club.

Today's been a really good day as far as the customers go. Lot's of couples who were obviously enjoying being in the store and picking out toys and movies. Got to make some recommendations on toys too, which I like because a lot of customers are too embarrassed to talk to me about stuff.

Yesterday, someone ripped off one of our special order lingerie catalogs, right off the register counter. It took me 4 hours to price up that damn catalog, and now we have to order another one from the company on Tues. Grrrr.

Sorry I didn't get back to you. We are more busy than usual for Sat afternoon - which is good 'cause yesterday was slow.

I thought I'd be sitting here taking a nap all afternoon. But I'd rather have customers. They've been spending their cash today too, which is nice.
