OWWWW! Fell asleep in the sun...!
Well, my legs, anyway. the rest of me was in the shade of a jolly deck umbrella. But, OWCH, my legs...my beautiful, lobster bisque-tinged legs!

1. I feel your pain...literally!
Shoulders and arms for me....I was doing yard work, and just went headstrong into it and never looked back. 3 hours later, the yard, looks amazing, the deck has been power washed and is clean...and the pain, sweet exquisite pain!!!!
A very cool shower later and an 8 year old daughter who was kind enough to rub tons of vitamin E lotion on my shoulders and back...and the pain is now tolerable...too bad I also had a dew rag on my bald head..now I have a very nice tan line across my forhead. White head, tanned face! :P

2. That's nothing!
One time in '98 (I think), I was in Florida, I was swimming in a pool, and when I got out, I had a BAD second degree sunburn ALL over my face, bumps, blisters and all! When I was on the plane home, I remember someone asking me how long I was in the sun. I replied, "About two hours." I was 6 back then. Of course, one of the factors, besides lack of sunscreen, was that the sun in Florida is a lot worse than in Ohio. That was also the last time I was ever on an airplane.

3. Where's Painesville, Ohio?
I live in West Carrollton, Ohio which is near Dayton. I'm thinking Painesville is up near Cleveland or maybe Columbus.

5. I've probably been pretty close to your town
Edited on Sat May-28-05 06:36 PM by Droopy
many times in my exploits as a truck driver. I used to get loads of paper out of northwest New York and I've been across I-90 many times. Pretty country up that way.
