Was I wrong to give a negative feedback?
Shipping cost was fleecing, to say the very least!

Actual product sell price was quite a bit too, considering how the part of the original price tag that wasn't torn off was more than revealing about the price they paid for it. (supply and demand, I know. Doesn't mean it's not unethical.)

They're a business, so why doesn't 7 days mean 7 business days?

1. Are you referring to e-Bay?
Did you pay the price you bid? Was there a stated promise about the delivery timeframe? Did you pay immediately? We don't know enough to decide if you were wrong to leave negative feedback. But I think leaving negative feedback over the price is sort of silly, if it's the price you bid.

2. I paid within 7 business days,

though they were slightly hasty in giving me a negative review, whining about not paying which in of itself was pretty silly too... (they said 7 days. And they were a business. Or presented themselves as one AFAI'mC.)

And then I saw their negative reviews which, on varying levels, tie in with my gripes too.

It's all naff anyway, the ebay service.

3. I don't know what naff means...
but I'm still unclear about why you gave them bad feedback. Because you didn't like the price you paid for the item, even though you set the price?

Or that they didn't ship to you before they had payment?

4. I have noticed some folks charge some exorbitant shipping...
but that is why I always email for the shipping $$ if it is not listed. So, if you had the opportunity to do so or they listed the shipping price and you bought it anyway, yes, I think negative review is unwarranted.

But, if they didn't respond on the shipping price request until the auction was over,(assuming you'd given them an opportunity to reply) then I think it might be warranted?
