If your monitor is 1.33/1 ratio, would you use a 1.6/1 ratio? (HDTV)
Instead of 1600x1200 resolution, I am opting for 1600x1000.

Maybe I'ma geek, but this is kinda cool to look at.

2. Gah!
I tried mucking around with my resolutions, and it kicked my monitor back to 60Hz, just about gave me a seizure! Smooth sailing at 100Hz for me my friend.

4. Or equivalent like 1440x900, et al.
Some monitors can't display the resolutions.

Only the Windows (or Linux or mac) OS will let you know what it can do.
