What the *()@$#% is wrong with people?!!
My room mate had a few people over last night, and they decided to get VERY drunk. The girl that was here basically spent the whole night trying to sleep with my room mate, and his friends, then would get pissed off and storm out of the room when they said 'No'. This, of course, kept me up most of the night. But thats not the really infuriating part.
This girl recently spent a WEEK here, eating our food, sleeping in our home, using our things. I don't really like her, but I was polite and courteous the whole time. Today, my room mate had to go to his family's home for a birthday dinner, so he woke up the sleeping friends and told them to get up cause he had to take off, and so did they.
The girl said 'No'.
Excuse me? No?! Get the fuck out of my house. Now.
So, it took 20 minutes of him trying to be nice in persuading her to leave.
She gets pissed, refuses to talk to him, gets ready, and then is rude to everyone and goes on about how she can't believe she's being 'kicked out'.
Well, believe it, honey. I don't think it's unreasonable for your host to ask you to leave his home when he is, himself, leaving. Hell, I don't think it's unreasonable even if he ISN'T leaving. I've been asked by friends before if I could go, cause they had things to do or whatever. I wasn't offended.
What an idiot.
I'm thinking of banning her from my apartment :P
Maybe I'm over-reacting

13. Haha, well...
He spent maybe 4 days a week at our ploace, sleeping on the couch. He would talk and spit in his sleep (quite gross), our living room, which was always spotless when he wasn't around, was covered with empty chip bags and bar wrappers (this dude ate a LOT of junk food), he would eat our food and generally just be an inconsiderate prick. He bought a new pair of sneakers one day and left his old ones in our storage room. I discovered those when we were packing shit up to leav in May. I'm also pretty sure he stole my 12 Monkeys dvd. Can't prove that but it's the only logical conclusion I can reach as to what happened to it.

The only considerate thing he did was go outside to smoke, and that's only because we had a no smoking clause in our lease.

25. Oh, I forgot to mention the time he and my roommate got home one night...
He was drunk and shouting. All I could hear was his slurred yelling and my roommate shouting "No, you aren't sleeping in the bathtub!"

Which left me in my bedroom cowering in fear. Dude's insane.

would try anyone's patience. Yeah, lots of people can do stupid things when tanked up. But this was more than a sleep-it-off one nighter. You had to draw a line somewhere.

with your foul language, it makes me think that there is a subtext to the swearing that I am missing out on. :silly:

10. Oh, man. This is how friendships self-destruct. Never become roommates!
I have had several experiences that are similar to yours. Every bloody time I lived in an apartment with friends, we ended up not even speaking by the time I left. Most of the strife happened because of the kind of crap you described.

I was very happy when I finally found my own place. When I started to become annoyed, I could just go home!

23. Musta Been A Real Winner If Every Guy Their Turned Her Down...
In any group of guys, there is usually at least one, that will...

well... you know.

Maybe she was gonna try and wait them out?

"If ya don't do me, I won't leave!"

:wtf:

Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase 'Get The Fuck Out'.

it's not all that surprising that they did. With pick up lines like "You're not very attractive but I'm desperate", combined with walking into the room and randomly grabbing peoples groins... :puke:

Like a dog that got sprayed by a skunk, she stinks, and isn't allowed on the furniture!

30. You pay to live there. I assume your room mate pays to live there.
If she wants to stay, make her pay to live there. How much are hotel rooms in your area? Charge her the prevailing rate.

And your roommate was way too nice in spending 20 minutes trying to persuade her to leave. Some people have no idea of boundaries and she sure sounds like a person who needs to learn about them.

Bottom line - it's YOUR place.
