OK, what's with one of our barn cats?

Our one year old black kitty was doing something unusual. Earlier today, I saw him come up on the other, bigger, and older tom, mounted him and tried to have sex with him. When the older tomcat eventually kicked im free with his back legs, I noticed that the black cat was sporting wood. What's up? Is our black cat bisexual or something?

We're more familiar with dogs doing the humping thing but some cats do it too.

4. Animals do that kind of thing all the time.

We have two male cats. One is neutered (or spayed because I can't remember which is which) and the other doesn't appear to be. Rather, he just acts completely clueless.

The spayed (neutered?) one constantly goes after the other one and sometimes manages to lay completely on top of the other one in such a way that all you see is a little bit of orange poking out from under this huge black mass.

Not to mention, they've PERFECTED the fine art of butt-sniffing.

I wouldn't worry about it. I laugh my head off watching my cats.

5. saw a chihuahua humping my male kitten once

animals are funny. Sex as dominance.

6. I thought awhile ago

when I had my grey cat (little cat) that he was infact gay. I had a female cat go into heat and he would just walk by and never give a second look. Also happened to other female cats in the neighborhood. Never once seen him interested in a female.

He disappeared one day and never returned.. That is one of the last straws that made me keep my cats indoors. He was the sweetest little boy ever.
