Why are some women such pigs? |
I work part time for at an upscale department store. My department consits of pricey career wear - Jones New York, Michael Kors, Kenneth Cole, Ann Klein, etc. The thing I can't stand is that about 50-60% of people who use our fitting rooms leave everything in a heap either on their fitting room floor or on the little bench in the room. Why can't people put the things back on the hangers? It makes you wonder if they do this at home. I know it's part of my job, but it's really irritating. The kicker a couple of weeks ago was a woman and her daughter (about 17-18)were shopping together and the woman pulls out a shirt to look at and as she is putting it back on the rack the shirt fell off the hanger. She bend down to pick it up and the daughter says real loud "Mom, they have people to do that!" Can you believe it?

1. I'm a man, but I can never get the clothes back on the damned hangers |
like they were when I took them off. I try, but I've had employees stop me and tell me it's their job, to leave it to them. A lot of stores have racks just outside the changing rooms just for such clothes. So I wouldn't blame an entire gender, I'd say that your store just has a different policy than most I've shopped at, and thus, most people are used to.

My girlfriend used to be a womens department manager in a middle tier department store. Another place you will see it is the infants and kids departments.

3. Go to the women's dept. after one of Kohl's many sales. |
It's a shambles. Some people have no regard for the people who work retail.

5. You know this is a worsening problem that I don't recall years |
ago. But the past 15 years or so, I notice it constantly. Civility and courtesy seem to be ever diminishing...
