What are the odds of finding four yolks? |
DH cracked an egg this morning and found four yolks in one egg. I've seen double yolks but never four in one egg. I know the record is nine yolks, but I just wondered if anyone here has cracked an egg with more than a double yolk. I also wonder if this is a naturally occuring thing or if it's the result of a frankenstein-like chicken.

5. He did take a picture of it |
but then he lost interest when I told him I didn't think it was a world record. It's still sitting on a plate by the stove, over easy.

11. Something like that should have been caught in the |
candling stage.
But no, I've never gotten more than a double even when we had our own chickens. Lately though I've been getting farm eggs that come in colors...pale blue, green, yellow, pink, an orangish. They aren't dyed, either. The hens lay them like that.
