I put my face out the sliding glass door last night to call for Daddy, and when I pulled my head back in I saw a spider as big as a quarter in the door track about two inches from my right eye. :scared:
When Daddy came in, I used a little stick to coax it outside the door so I could shut it without killing the little thing.
Of course, the cats would've preferred I let the spider in. They love treats that wiggle and are crunchy on the outside, and . . . you know the rest.

At first I was so fearful of them I couldn't even kill them. Now I just get mad and HAVE to kill them.

2. I kill spiders if they are in the house |
|
and they are not near the door where I could get them out easily.
Of course, that is in part due to the fact that my daughter would let out a blood curtling scream (and has) if she saw one in her room (3 yrs old).

4. Depends on the size of the spider |
|
Little ones don't bug me at all, or daddy longlegs, etc.
But back when we had a little sleeping cabin in a private campground, I looked up and there was a wolf spider that was about 3" in diameter dangling just above my head. It retreated behind some insulation before I could squash it. My wife and I slept in the cab of the truck that night....

6. Other - my hands are sweating and I will have the chills |

for the rest of the day just reading your post. I don't generally kill them (probably because I'm too wigged out to do that) and I appreciate their place in my garden if not my home but they are my unreasonable ridiculous phobia. Bleh.
