I call her Lady of Pain*.
She's hurtin', but Lortabs are helping.
Doc says about six weeks to heal.
I cracked some ribs way back in '65.
Treatment is still the same.
Time and pain pills.
I am now chief cook and bottle washer.
Anybody want to send a casserole over?

Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet her when we were in Mobile....We we both ailing and the timing wasn't good.

I broke 4 ribs and cracked both my pelvis and collarbone in a skiing accident in 1984. Best advice I can give is don't make her laugh (PLEASE!) and pray she doesn't have to sneeze or hiccup.
