Maj. David Taube told The Janesville Gazette he takes responsibility for his conduct, is embarrassed and is getting help.
Taube said the person he was chatting with indicated he was a 14-year-old boy, but Taube didn't believe him. He wouldn't say what sort of Internet chat room he was in when he met the Florida detective posing as a 14-year-old.
Taube told the newspaper he fell into Internet porn, but "not kiddies."
