I heard his version of "Long As I Can See The Light", and remembered how much I loved "Watch Your Step" and "Happy Hour".

Another Ted Hawkins fan!!!

I first encountered him in Venice, on the boardwalk, a lot of years ago. He was amazing. Just amazing. Talk about doing it his very own way.......

A singular and remarkable talent.

You like James Cotton? He's an old friend of mine. Throat cancer's got him, but he's still playing, even though he can't sing. Those old guys are tough. And tender.

Hawkins could bring me to tears with one song, then double me over with laughter with the next. What a voice and what a soul.
