Frankly, I'm indifferent to the Pistons (sorry everybody), but the fact that Shaq doesn't make the Finals AGAIN is SWEEEEEET!!!

I live in Los Angeles and got so sick of listening to the two biggest cry babies in the NBA, Shaq and Kobe. I was so happy when I heard he was leaving Los Angeles...I wish Kobe Bryant would have gone, too.

11. Yes, and those fireworks might be coming from Nevada sportsbook managers |
|
Edited on Tue Jun-07-05 12:51 AM by Awsi Dooger
The sportsbooks were caught briefly asleep last summer when the Heat traded for Shaq, Sharp bettors got down huge amounts on the Heat to win the title at 15/1 or higher. I was playing golf that day but still managed 12/1 late in the day. I hedged the wager tonight and made a small profit.
I work for the sportsbooks as a stats analyst and consultant. Still, it pisses me off when they get away with a blunder like that. I got back from a trip to Alaska last week and every sportsbook manager I checked in with was whining about how much jeopardy their future book was in if the Heat won the title. These guys are pure corporate wimps now, afraid to take a bet or have a single losing day.
