I've been thinking about the recent Boondocks/Rice cartoons.
One thing I'm not sure I like about them. They are assuming she needs a man and I think that is very sexist. She might need a good women to make her happy. Let's not jump to any conclusions.

2. I didn't much care for the joke either
it was kinda lame - not up to Boondocks caliber if you ask me.

3. Or she might not need ANYONE to complete her...
IMHO, far too many people--straight, gay and bi--settle for crummy, disasterous relationships because they believe they HAVE to be in a relationship to be a complete, normal person. What a line of shit!

Contrary to sophmoric romance novels, there is NOT "someone for everyone."

4. Quality of the joke aside...
Early in the series, they did discuss her preference.

5. Now that you mention it
I can picture her donning a strap-on and going to work on her lover with that evil scowl on her face :scared:

6. The joke is NOT "finding a man for 'Condi'"...
I.M. not so H.O., The joke is the semi-fascist nature of the "ads." It appears that the gag is to see how many different ways you can paint Rice as "SBFF (Single Black Female Fascist) seeks....."

In that vein, I find the slam VERY funny, as a supposedly intelligent mature black woman should in all reality have about as much in common with the Bush Administration as she would with David Duke.

Depends on how you look at it.

10. Have to do SOMETHING with this freaking IQ.
Edited on Thu Oct-30-03 01:38 PM by Tyler Durden
I'm sure not making any money off of it, and I work in the Auto Industry which these days is a little like being a Steward on the Lusitania (I'd say Titanic, but there will be nothing slow about the way this business sinks. Sigh.)

On edit:

Besides, anyone who read the first strip in this series should have gotten the joke: has nothing to do with sexism and everthing to inhumanity.
