No, I can't make it, but I would dearly love to. I'm getting psyched to go to the Pittsburgh one next weekend.

Wonder what I should wear?? Hmmm...

13. well
I've only been to three and people tend to dress fairly casually. So whatever you're comfortable in will be fine.

But your inquiry reminds me of a dilemma I faced several years ago. I was to provide the entertainment at a pig roast in a very remote area of my home state. I said to a girl friend, "what the heck does one wear to a pig roast in Chepachet. . .?"

We could only agree that the most appropriate attire was stellettos and an apple in one's mouth.

So now when either of us are going anywhere of significance, we always suggest the "pig roast ensemble." Pretty silly. . .I know.

34. no. . . you don't get it
they'll never roast anything wearing stillettos. At least not blatantly so. It's defensive strategizing at its finest. I swear.

36. Who said you had to be roasted?
I'm just hung up on the part where you walk out in stilleto heels and nothing but an apple in your mouth.

98.6 is fine.

Maybe I'm just waaaay more imaginative than DU can readily accept :D

27. Clothes will usually do the trick
Ordinary clothes if they're meeting at a sports bar, fancier clothes if they're meeting at a restaurant with tablecloths, not that I've heard of DUers doing that.

35. I have never been to one, but
I'm pretty sure I would wear jeans (shorts if it's too warm for jeans) and a t-shirt. Jacket or sweater if it's chilly.

Summer - sandals on my feet. Winter - boots.

But that's me. :D
