Poll question: Do you feel that Miller Lite is less filling? |
|
Edited on Sat Jun-11-05 07:09 PM by JVS
I hope not to open up a huge controversy here.

4. I LOVE cheap lite beer |
|
I am no beer snob. I like cheap, yellow, watery beer that I can pound. If I want to drink something tasty, I'll have a Long Island iced tea or some shit. If I want to knock back beers all night, I'll drink Miller Lite

5. If I'm gonna drink Miller, which I do, |
|
it's regular or MGD. Which btw is quenching my thirst as we speak.

18. Same here. I'll drink high life over the others. |
|
Edited on Sun Jun-12-05 12:04 PM by JVS
It's cheaper than MGD and Lite, and I like it best of the three. Of course MGD is on sale at Meijer's for $6.98/ 12 pack, so I might do some MGD soon. I generally don't drink the Lite, but then again what son gravitates to the beer of his father (big time Lite fan), is it not natural to rebel and drink something different?

There have been times when the beer snobs would have us cower in terror.
Those days are over!

|
That's not saying much though. I can't drink that watery beer anymore.
Gimme a good stout or a good local brew (I live in MI and we have some good ones)!

take your money with you.
Lite beer is not beer, it is just very bad water.

as I said in another post, this thread started as a copycat of a "Do you think life is fulfilling" poll, so I by no means wish to endorse light beer as regular or ice varieties tend toward better strength

|
Because life is too short to be sober.
If you can get your hands on the good stuff, drink up.
If you can only get the cheap stuff, drink up.
But above all things, drink up!

27. Yeah, actually I find the big 3 to be overpriced, so I rarely buy them |
|
I often boy Leinenkugel's, Huber and then the dirt cheap macros like schlitz or Old German when I am low on funds. This thread started as a copycat of a "is life fulfilling" poll, so I'm really not endorseing Miller beyond saying that if I can get a good deal on it, I'll drink it

31. No. I drink to enjoy the drink, and I don't drink to excess. |

Even my coffee has to be decaf. *sigh*
Twenty years ago, I pulled all-night writing sessions by subsisting on strong black coffee and cigarettes.

21. When it's really, really hot.... |
|
And the Miller (any flavor) is really, really cold--in ice & water, that is--I'm glad to have it.
In a pub--with 20 beers on tap & 50 in bottles--I'll be more picky.
