1. I live in the town National Geographic called the most remote community
in the Lower 48. We got DSL here years before my family in Tucson. Our phone co-op has satillite high speed now for the ranchers who live outside of the little towns around here.

So there :P

5. Actually, I am a city girl, born and raised
Just picked a different path for this part of my life. I am sort of an ambassador in a strange land! Here among the red tide, showing them a liberal can be a fine neighbor. ;)

Understand: some rural areas have good fiber optic cable and you would be amazed how much better a co-op works as opposed to a huge for profit corporation that will screw customers & workers to fluff up the quarterly reports! Our phone co-op is really amazing and is always working to the cutting edge while giving customers deals on new tech. And they are out in a heartbeat when the weather gets nasty and lines start to come down. These guys are really great! They are all neighbors and they take that damned seriously.

Much better than what my daughter deasl with in a city - Q-Worst!

2. I live in the sticks of Napa Valley
Cable has never made it my way, but amazingly enough, DSL hit town about 2 years ago... just in time to save my sanity.
