She is nickel and dimming me, not entering my payroll correctly, not reimbursing me for mileage owed from the beginning of last month, badgering me to work more then paying me less than my regular hourly wage for those extra "special project" hours (when she had promised me an incentive pay amount to get me to "play along" in the first place). Now she is telling me that she won't approve the incentive until the project is completed. That was not part of the offer that she made me when she desperately needed me to be involved in this project in the first place. This project has been ramping up for over a month, all the while I have been covering for other people while they were on vacation (doing their work as well as my own) and now someone that is out on extended sick leave. This has meant extra hours and more commuting to complete someone elses tasks.
Last Wednesday, we began the physical part of the special project. I had to report at 5 AM (much earlier than I would normally) and lead a team for her. She had the nerve to ask me to work additional hours that day as well. When I couldn't remain as long as she wanted that day, she forced me to work a very extended day on Friday to cover HER butt. No, "Could you" was involved here. It was a "you will". And now I am having to chase her for the money that is owed to me. I think she made promises to me that she is trying to cover up from HER boss and didn't think I would call her on it.
She sucks. I need to remind her that I was born at night, but not last night.
You know, you work hard and you expect a little respect. You do them favors and you expect a little love. Instead, I get a hard way to go.
She can kiss my rosy red ass in Macy's window. I am a good employee, I have never been disciplined. I often have regional and corporate vendors visiting me because my work is used as an example for my "program". She is just incompetent and makes her money on the backs of her employees.
She has only been my boss for a little over a year and in that time she has had 3 weeks vacation, 1 week of a "working vacation" in her new summer home 1000 miles away, and 1 week of "sick vacation" working from her house.
I, on the other hand, have worked there almost 2 years and have never taken a vacation. Seems I don't get any vacation or sick days in this program. In all fairness, this should be a part time gig, but lately with all the extras I have been doing (and I covered another person for almost a year in another location as well before this), it's anything but part time.
I wish the fleas of a thousand camels to infest her pubic hair and her to have no nails with which to scratch.
I wish I had my old boss back. She treated people like they were people and not bodies.
Thanks for asking. I had to get that off my chest.
Now, if there is any truth that you have ever wanted to say to a boss, have at it. I will have empathy and sympathy to share.
