Howl's Moving Castle (wow!!!) |

If you're a fan of Miyazaki, he's at the top of his game in this one. Gorgeous animation and a very whimsical story.
For those of you who aren't familiar with his work, but are fans of animated features, this is one that both the grown ups and the kids can enjoy.
I highly recommend it for either group.

1. I have almost all of his major productions on DVD. |

"Spirited Away", in particular, is one I must have watched 6 or 7 times at least. For such movies, I'd rather buy the DVD than go to the theater. I'll be watching for that one to come out on DVD, and will order it just as soon as it does.
pnorman On edit: Another reason I prefer DVD over the movie (or the VHS tape version), is the excellent bonus material generally available. Also, in the cae of the Myazaki movies, I can set it for Japanese dialog, and English subtitles.

2. I really enjoyed Castle in the Sky.... |

I look forward to seeing this...that is if it does not interfere with my repeated Star Wars viewings of course.

We're all excited to see a Miyazaki movie on the big screen. We'll catch the DVD when it comes out, too, because of all the neat-o extras, as another poster on this thread pointed out.
