When I took strong antibiotics, my pits didn't smell at all

That was sort of nice, but it worried me a little. Luckily after I finished them, my naturual bacteria seemed to grow back on its own with no complications except digestive problems during the time that I took them.

My breath never stinks after a course of pont-l'évêque cheese and port. At least I can't smell it. Know whut I mean Vern?

But he confirmed it. I also stopped wearing deoderant because it seemed pointless and it was winter so I wasn't sweating much anyway.
My non smell began a few days into the treatment and lasted during the entire month of taking the antibiotics. After a couple days off the antibiotics, I was smelly again.
It was a cephalosporin. I took it for a month to finally kill my chronic sinus infection. It cost over $100 with insurance, without insurance, it would have been over $400.

Glad to hear you had good luck with the treatment. Dr. DemoTex is also on cephalosporin now for a vague symptom of possible UTI.

7. Makes sense

A dermatologist friend of mine suggests putting athletes' foot cream under your arms at night as a first solution for patients that complain about smelling. The bacteria that causes the smelling is killed by the cream, so the odor stops. According my friend, it's a lot easier on your skin than prescription strength antiperspirant or botox shots.

It would make sense that a strong antibiotic would do the same.
