1. The photographers name was Riboud I believe.
Edited on Fri Jun-17-05 03:19 PM by ET Awful
That might help in the search. I haven't found it yet, but I've found some others from the same day.

Such as. . .

I'm not positive this is the same guy, but it's the closest I can find so far.

7. I believe I know which picture you mean -
and I remember her on the left of the shot also. I don't have a clue how to find it, though.

2. I got nothing direct for ya Matcom
but you might try looking in on Kent State. I believe that is where the most widely publicized pic of the flower in gun barrel incident took place.

6. I was getting two incidents confused, that's the right one :)
Edited on Fri Jun-17-05 03:26 PM by ET Awful
It was October 16, 1965 according to everything I've found.

I was wrong on the first one (which was in 1967) :)

8. I think that's the one you were looking for too
Although I have an image of a girl doing it. I wonder if we are thinking of the same photo or if we are both confused..lol.

5. You mean this one?

(It's a guy, not a girl. But I think it's the one you mean. Sorry for the hotspot, I just shot a quick pic with the digital camera.)

I have it in a Life magazine picture book, and it runs across the gutter, so if I scan it for you, it won't be perfect. But I can do that for you if you want, and if you can wait until tomorrow.

13. I'm getting the same photo as ET awful.
I think my brain is merging the image of that photograph with the image of the campaign ad with the little girl in the field when the nuclear bomb explodes. Drat. I'll still look though.
