Hello??? Clark is saying Bush LIHOP on national TV!
Shouldn't we be throwing a party? We have a major candidate attacking Bush on his utter failure to stop 911, and pointing out that Bush knew or should have known. This should be the happiest day on DU since that day! We were right and Clark knows it!

Edited on Fri Oct-31-03 05:24 PM by goobergunch
Or merely LIHTEN?

Either way is , but I don't want an exaggeration here.

5. well, seems to me he's saying "LIH"
but it's just a few words short of actually saying "OP" yet - sounds more like negligence than complicity.

19. Holy shit! I'm not even going to say "Holy kibble!"
CLARK FREAKIN' RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:yourock:

Clark now has my vote, along with Dean and Kucinich. There's no way a trojan horse would be so accusatory.

But "or should have known"? That invites Bush to blame Clinton again, and the New York Times and countless other entities have had semi- to genuinely credible reports on how Bush knew it was to happen.

Of course, if Clinton is to blame for 9/11, can we blame Bush Sr for the 1993 attack?

to which Clark responded in a press release demanding they turn over the 911 files to the Commission!

If he really lays LIHOP then he will be in the running for my vote. I'd like to see someone attack the 2000 election and BBV too.

25. I think Clark is LIHOP...
but is doing everything but saying it.

He walks a fine line here between between
getting elected and be scoffed at by the media.

Timing.....

Clark said to an LA crowd to stay tuned, there is
more to come in the months ahead of us.

By the way I am LIHOP but I think guv'mint thought
they would hijack a few planes, not bring down the
2 tallest bldgs in NYC

29. But one time in one speech, he spoke diplomatically
about the Chimp and his minions. Clark is obviously a repuke
secret agent. (Sarcasm off)

Clark is the only candidate with the guts and credentials to
use Sept. 11 against Shrubby. If the Aug. 6, 2001 intelligence report
becomes public, (where * was warned of a terrorist highjacking plot
and did absolutely nothing, didn't even let the airlines and
airports know about the threat) Sept. 11 could be their undoing.

30. This is encouraging
It is also gutsy.

Remember, the Republicans are great at brainwashing the masses. They actually think the GOP spends less money than Democrats (egad!). And that the war in Iraq was for humanitarian reasons (like the GOP ever cared about Muslims). They are actually fine with Bush and his cronies funneling 'reconstruction money' through Haliburton and Bechtel.

For these types of accusations to stick, and to make the sheeple think for themselves without the drilling of neocon propaganda, the Clark people really have to be armed and ready to go with this.

On the plus side, the Dems could really make Bush look bad (yeah, I know - he already looks bad -- to us!). On the negative, the neocons could spin like crazy to make Clark look like a flake.

Clark needs to be ready to pounce hard when Bush hits his lowest point, and is most vulnerable.

Al in all, I like hearing candidates that tell the truth without sugarcoating it. Good job!

32. It's clear Clark has a political strategy here
If there's more to come -- I say that 2004 is going to be an historic year in this country. I'm watching Clark with interest. I like Dean, but in conscience, it's Kucinich's vision that we need. Unfortunately, I think Dennis is about ten years ahead of his time politically.

Just ruminating here. But I am comforted by Clarks clarity and aggression. This is a campaign he obviously intends to win.

Lately I have hope here. I do. We can get our country back.
