Has anyone had their rhoids stapled? **Warning nasty graphic**

Since I'm "anonymous" here, I thought that I would let the whole world know that I'm getting my hemorrhoids fixed on Tuesday. But this procedure is fairly new. It is called "Procedure for Prolapse and Hemorrhoids" or "PPH."

The device pictured below cuts and staples everything in one fell swoop. It looks like an RPG to me.

Has anyone you know told you how it all came out in the end?

It pushes up the tissue to where your rhoids should be and cuts and staples the membrane into that position. It is sort of like a face lift for your rectum.

8. Quite frankly I'm a bit scared to go get mine fixed.

I can't imagine the pain from getting them removed can be any worse than the amount of pain they cause me on a near daily basis but I'm sort of embarrassed and not a little afraid to go and get it done. Let me know how it works out for you.
