I spent, what seemed like the whole weekend with my parents. Ah, it twas a good time though. But next weekend is mine, DAMNIT!

1. Got started on Operation Garage Paint Freedom ...

... by nailing down the loose wooden siding.

5. Yep, priming then painting.

The house was sided a couple years ago. The house and garage were sided with stained, rough pine. Of course, rough pine shrinks as it ages and cracks and detachments have occurred. I figure, I can greatly extend the life of the garage siding by caulking the cracks and fastening the loose boards. Then I will paint over the worn-out siding to match the new house color.

3. I saw Buffet on Friday night

and had dinner at Michael Jordan's steak house (expensive! but yummy)

Saturday I did laundry and went grocery shopping.

Sunday, we packed up a bunch of stuff and moved it over to the new apartment.

18. Hi there Yit! Glad to hear about the new love in your life...

It is a wonderful and liberating thing! My weekend was fine...Yesterday was my husband's birthday, and I asked a nice neighbor to come over to take some pics of us...she did a great job. I may post one of them later...Made a fancy dinner last night for him, as well...
I actually don't remember what I did Saturday! How funny is that? I need to get off this computer and eat some breakfast, lol....

Weekend was packed with things to do. Actually, nothing was planned. We just did a lot. I want to go home and relax. But no can do. Baseball game tonight. If ya want, I can come over and make my most delici-o-so waffles for you.
